What is the best way to screen tenants?

Free Dwelly Listings As the Landlord, you can share your preferred times to do showings and the potential tenants would then be notified of these times once a showing is requested. From there they would  reach out to you directly to schedule a time for seeing the property. 
Premium Dwelly Listings You would also schedule showings directly with the potential tenant but unlike the free tier - the HD video tour, detailed floor plan and professional photos we provide greatly reduces the # of showings and increases the chances of receiving an online rental application without  having to show see the property.

How are property viewings handled?

Depending on your listing type there are two ways landlords can collect rent.
Free Dwelly Listings Tenants pay the landlord directly by whatever means the landlords has accepted in the lease agreement. 
These typically include eTransfers, Post-Dated Cheques, and Pre-authorized payments. Premium Dwelly Listings Dwelly collects rent on behalf of the landlord and directly transfers all rent to your preferred bank account.

How landlords receive monthly rent payments from tenants.

How can landlords collect monthly rent?

After finding the right tenant you would and the new tenant would sign an <a href="https://help.dwelly.ca/a-guide-for-tenants/what-is-the-ontario-standard-lease-agreement" target="_blank" class="intercom-content-link">Ontario Standard Lease Agreement</a> and that would be the binding tenancy agreement between both parties. 
If there are any additional terms you would like to add to the agreement you can add them as an attachment to the original agreement.
